Filters might be helpful here.

From the Search menu, click Add to filters....
Change the Name to: Default
Change the Search to: !lnk !path:$recycle.Bin
Click OK.

From the Search menu, click Add to filters....
Change the Name to: myTrip1
Change the Search to: path:England !path:London
Click OK.

From the Search menu, click Add to filters....
Change the Name to: myTrip2
Change the Search to: path:London

Filters can be activated from the Search menu, Filter bar (View -> Filter bar), right clicking the status bar, filter macro or filter keyboard shortcut.

I recommend enabling View -> Filter bar for this situation.
Right click the filter bar to change the side.

To set the default filter:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the Home tab on the left.
  • Set Filter to the Default filter you added above.

The home search can be opened with Alt + Home or History -> Home.
