My PC: 64 bit Windows 10 Pro version 22H2 OS build 19045.4894
Recently if I do a search with the search that came with it using the magnifying glass icon, for something like a video that I know is on the computer, and if it happens to say it found it, when I choose for it to open the file location it just opens the desk top folder. I wasted a number of hours trying to figure out why it won't actually open the file location any more and asking in different forums and trying different things and so far have only lost a number of hours and gained nothing.
This attempt is to find something else to search with since in the other discussions people said there are better search options anyway. So in a beginning down this new path a general search indicated that Everything is the most popular search tool so I'd like to try it. I know this is a pathetic question, but where to download it exactly? I tried one place that said it was free but of course you have to take some other junk you don't want along with it like a Chrome extension virus or something. I haven't seen a link in these forums yet but hope someone will paste one or tell me where to find one.
