General • Re: Save sort order?

Everything will only remember 'fast' sorts.

Please make sure your date sort is set to 'fast' under Tools -> Options -> Indexes.

Please check your home sort under Tools -> Options -> Home -> Sort.

To force Everything to remember the last sort (not recommended):
Copy and paste the following into your Everything search box:
/always_keep_sort=1
Press ENTER in your Everything search box.
If successful, always_keep_sort=1 is shown in the status bar for a few seconds.
(Enabling can make Everything rather slow on startup)
